Description of Casa Palmita
The vacation home lies in an absolutely tranquil spot at the end of a blind alley and borders on a small settlement surrounded by plantations and fields of flowers. Together with the neighbouring house it forms part of an enclosed estate of over 1200 m² and is planted with typical flora from Tenerife. You have a view of the Atlantic and the Teide. You can use it as a base for many activities and come back and relax at the end of the day in a pleasant, tranquil atmosphere. Since the house is rented mainly to people on self-catering holidays, it is wise to hire a car. The house can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and one child and has all the necessary accoutrements to ensure a trouble-free vacation. It is very roomy and has a large, roofed terrace and an extensive garden.
Location of the cottage
The vacation home lies below La Victoria de Acentejo on the edge of a small settlement right on the coast. This area is one of the nicest in the north of Tenerife and popular because of its sunny location. La Victoria is a modern town which has nevertheless preserved its original charm. If you prefer the atmosphere of a larger town, then Puerto de la Cruz is only minutes away by car. This town with its unique atmosphere and touristy offer lies about 10 km away. Santa Cruz is 27 km from here. If you prefer more natural surroundings then you may care to visit the Orotava valley which can also be reached in a few minutes. You may however decide to spend your time relaxing in your vacation home. Its architecture and décor are those you would expect of a south European country, with its abundance of flowers and its charming details.
